I didn't turn on the radio all day. But when I did my shift yesterday, the conditions were pretty bad. I'll be glad when I get caught up so I can order my vertical and get that put up. I noticed all day Tuesday that I didn't get anyone in good unless they were using a vertical.
What happens is that not only a vertical works better with the lower angle of radiation, but the signal cork screws through the air. When someone is running vertical, then by the time it get here it's horizontal.

Yah good. How far is it to your uncles? I see you haven't been on in the last 4 or 5 days. And I don't hear you on your hour on MidCars.
